Are you an emotional eater? Emotional eating is the practice of consuming large quantities of food -- usually "comfort" or junk foods -- in response to feelings instead of hunger. Experts estimate that 75% of overeating is caused by emotions. By identifying what triggers our eating, we can substitute more appropriate techniques to manage our emotional problems and take food out of the equation.
Emotional eating is a common problem faced by both men and women, and it will definitely undermine your best efforts to fitness. Hey, life is complicated. Fortunately, we have our resident Life Coach, Jenn Nocera, with us today.
