During this open-dialogue forum, we aim to discuss:  Why do you feel the need to hold back information from those you love and those treating you? Do you feel comfortable telling your doctors everything? How do you prepare for a doctor’s appointment? What advice do you have to better help explain pain to others? When do you feel the most empowered?   Nicole Hemmenway and April Richardson will be moderating the conversation. Come join the conversation next Monday at 2:30pm PST / 5:30pm EST. Share experiences or just listen.   We hope to see you there! In the meantime, remember each of us living with pain is an inspiration and a true survivor. Hang in there, and know you are never alone on your journey. 01:01:00NicoleHemmenwaynopain,chronic pain, doctors,Nicole Hemmenway,US Pain FoundationCome join U.S. Pain Foundation next Monday, October 17 at 2:30pm PST / 5:30pm EST for an hour-long webcast. We are viewing this open-dialogue chat as a healing session, a time where all of us can come together to talk about our lives. Nicole Hemmenway will be moderating the conversation. It is our goal to focus the discussion around:   What inspires us? How can we make a difference? Do we feel heard, recognized and validated?   While we all may not have the same diagnosis or disability, the pain and emotional heartache we feel is universal. Each of us endures the same frustration, shame and despair … just as each one of us possesses the same internal strength and desire to find answers. We must remember that a special bond unites us – by coming together, we inspire, empower and teach one another. Each of us has a story and a gift. As Nicole says, “we are all survivors.”   Come join the conversation next Monday at 2:30pm PST / 5:30pm EST. 00:59:00NicoleHemmenwaynoUS Pain Foundation,Nicole Hemmenway,Pain Survivors,Sharing Stories of Hope,Heroes of HealingAs National Pain Awareness Month nears an end, U.S. Pain Foundation will host an hour-long meeting for the pain community on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 2:30
