While the majority of Christian denominations either support Freemasonry or take no stance/position on it, there are many churches that are publicly opposed to it, and either shame or prohibit their parishioners from joining the fraternity of Freemasons. The largest denominations in opposition are the Roman Catholic Church and the Southern Baptist Convention, but there are hundreds more. Freemasonry uses allegory to explain many life lessons to the candidate (future Freemason) about how he should live, treat others, care for his family, be involved in his community and improve himself; to do all of these things with honor and with personal drive for self-improvement. Simply put, "light" or "more light" refers to knowledge and that knowledge allows the Freemason to accomplish his goals in life, which he has agreed are the collective goals of his fraternity and his brothers in Freemasonry. 00:24:00The Nick Singelis ShownoFreemasonry,Cults,Roman Catholic Church, secret society, conspiracy theoriesWhy do 90% of Christian Organization oppose Freemasons?
