Join us this week as we welcome Southern Rock/Blues/Country music singer songwriter, Donica Knight. Hailing from Millbrook, AL., Knight has just begun to scratch the surface in Nashville. As she might tell you, she is still in the top of the first inning of her career. But what a ride her fans are in for! Shadowing Knight for a day would shed light on how talented and devoted an artist she is - quite honestly one of the hardest working people out there. Along with her tireless drive to perfect her craft, Knight’s distinctive voice is a breath of fresh air in the country format.  Donica’s unique blend of Southern rock, country, blues and old East Memphis music has led to a rigorous touring schedule in the Southeast, performing more than 350 dates, opening for both country and rock superstars, as diverse as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Styx, Hank Williams Jr., Kid Rock, Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Kenny Rogers, Scotty McCreery, Jamey Johnson, Little River Band, Skid Row, Kellie Pickler, Blackberry Smoke, Joe Nichols, REO Speedwagon, The Band Perry, Chris Young, 3 Doors Down and many others. Her new single "Love Ain't A Prize" taken from her forthcoming EP, "Can't Buy A Southern Girl" releases on November 1, 2015. The EP is slated for early 2016 release. We will talk to Donica about her upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at her music, feature her latest songs, and ask her to share her message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Donica Knight at http://www.donicaknight.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with Donica during the show (718) 766-4193. If you would like to participate in the live chat during the show, you must sign up on the show site first and then log in during the show. Our message to the troops: WE do what we do, because YOU do what you do.
