Join us this week as we welcome  pop music singer songwriter Lauren Winans. There are some things Lauren is shy about, but her music isn’t one of them. When it comes to songwriting and singing, she brings her energetic and sassy attitude to the forefront for all to hear. The West Virginia native moved to Nashville in 2010 and was swarmed with opportunities to work with the best in the industry. She even spent a few months performing at the legendary Tootsie’s on Broadway. Since then, Lauren has found her niche in pop music. Lauren’s favorite part of the music business is songwriting, and she prides herself on writing songs that are true to her experiences. “I love watching my ideas come to life and turn into real songs,” Lauren says. Her recent release, “You’re Gonna Luv It,” which placed in the Top 40 of iTunes new releases, is a fun, flirty, and maybe even somewhat bossy, look at falling in love. In exciting news for January 2014, Lauren has just released her latest single "Better At Breaking" and is available now on iTunes. We will talk to Lauren about her upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at her music, feature her latest songs, and ask her to share her message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Lauren Winans at http://www.laurenwinans.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with with Lauren during the show (718) 766-4193  If you would like to participate in the live chat during the show, you must sign up on the show site first and then log in during the show.
