Join us this week as we present a very very special show! We will be featuring interviews with several WW2 Veterans who served aboard the USS Canberra. The USS Canberra was a heavy cruiser ship which saw a lot of action in the Pacific during World War 2. During the evening of October 13th, 1944 she was hit by a aerial torpedo that opened her hull amidships, bent a propeller shaft, and left her with both engine rooms and the after fire rooms flooded, and killed 23 personnel instantly. She was dead in the water less than a hundred miles from Formosa, a major enemy air base. During our interviews with these iconic WW2 veterans, you will get an inside look at the events leading up to, during, and the subsequent amazing rescue of the USS Canberra.  And as always we will give shout outs to our deployed military listeners. Be sure to join us, Sunday October 31st at a special start time at 12:00 PM (Noon) EST! Our message to the troops....WE do what we do, because YOU do what you do.
