In 2007, we brought you coverage of NY Giants, NY Jets, andMiami Dolphins camps and in 2006, we covered the Arizona Cardinals camp aswell as both NY Teams. There is a distinct possibilitythat most of the furniture in Ralph's House is damaged due to the NYJets’ dismal showing in the 2007 season. Phil pens "the Buzz" every Wednesday, and is NFLDB's Ad SalesDirector.He is also a graduate student in the Sports Management Program atColumbia University. He eats, drinks, and sleeps football. He is also agraduate of Bowling Green University. Bill has been Involved with the sport of football most of his life.After returning home from military service in the mid 1980's, heentered the Broadcast Media program at Fordham University where he wasblessed to train under the late, great Marty Glickman. In 1987, he helpedfound his first Football Draft Publication, The Stadium Guide toFootball, which was published until 1998.Since then, Bill has lent hisexpertise on the sport to AOL's Football Forums, The Bronx PressReview,Fantasy Football Magazine, andthe Pigskin Parlor. From the spring of2006 until the fall of 2007, Bill has been involved withFieldposition.com as a national scout. Bill also has over a decade ofcoaching experience at various levels, and is a member of the ProFootball Researchers Association. He has attended 33 NFL Drafts since1974, and since 1987 he has done so with press credentials through the variousorganizations he has worked for. In the spring of 2007, Bill joined the staff of NFLDB, and waselevated to Sr. Vice President in August of 2007. Along withPublisher/CEO/President Ric Serritella, Vice President/Director ofscouting Dan Mogollon, and Vice President John Murphy (on NationalAssignment with Yahoo Sports as their football talent evaluator),Chachkes sits on the executive board of the NFLDB. His main area ofscouting coverage is the "smaller" schools in the Northeast andMid-Atlantic. Other contributing staff: Ross Mandel is NFLDB's Editorial Director, and now joins us on-air each week.
He was presentat the "London" game between the NY Giants andthe Miami Dolphins. Ross has worked in the publishing industry for over 15years and is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder. He also hoststhe “Turf Wars” blog on our website. Mike Ingram is a contributing guest host for the NFLDB’s Podcast/Radioeffort. Mike works for Suave Magazine asits sportscolumnist, as well as for Black Athlete.com. He formerly covered theEagles for the Philly Tribune and worked with Bill and John atThe Stadium Guide during the1990’s. He is currently writing a bookabout the greatest players you’ve never heard of." He has also covered theNFL for Blitz Magazine, and hascovered the CFL for Soul TreeBroadcasting in Vancouver, Canada. Zennie Abraham is the CEO of Sports Business Simulations, Inc. He was thepresident of the Oakland Co. sports commission until 2005 when Oaklandwas eliminated from contention for a Super Bowl bid. He has alsocontributed to various newspapers and radio stations in the Bay area onthe business side of sports, especially football. He also owns andmanages close to 40 blogs, including the NFL Business Blog(nflbiz.blogspot.com) and two others in conjunction with NFLDB, the NFLDraft Magazine Blog, and the College Football Insiders Blog, which canboth be accessed from the NFLDB main page. Scott Daniels Esq. is a NYC lawyer who pens "the Legal Line" on ourwebsite, and produces "the Legal Line" podcast for us. A die hardPhilly Eagles fan, Scott thinks he should be the next GM for JeffLurie's team. John Murphy Jr. is NFLDB's other V.P. As a nationally known andrecognized independent scout, John is currently on assignment for YahooSports as its Prospect and Talent Evaluator. John also founded and ranNext Level Scouting, was the U.S. field scout for the MontrealAlouettes, worked for former St. Louis Rams scout Russ Lande on his "GMJr." publication, served on the selection board for the East-West Shrinegame, worked with Mike Ingram and Bill Chachkes at the Stadium Guidefrom 1993-97, and got his start covering the NY Jets for WGBB radio onLong Island, NY. Dan Mogollon is NFLDB's Executive V.P. and the editor of the CollegeFootball Insiders Newsletter. Dan has covered College Football for wellover a decade. Dan also ran his own website "thesportsmaster.com"beforejoining NFLDB in 2004. Rick Serritella Is NFLDB's CEO/President & Publisher. Rick Produced theTV portion of WFAN radio's "Mike & the Mad Dog" show for 2-1/2years, aswell as covering football for USA Today. In 2005, he created the "FantasyFootball Insiders.com" website, which now sits under the NFLDB umbrella.Rick got his start as an information man for the 2001 New EnglandPatriots while attending Johnson and Wales University.
