Call in to speak with the host
Do you thrive on routine, pattern and predictability? If so, you may be living your life on automatic pilot. This means you are separated from choices motivated by your higher self. Tune in this week as Nancy and I talk about the importance of spontaneity and natural inclinations. Thriving on routine suggests we are strictly adhering to cultural beliefs. This plays out in our daily lives as having the right diet, car, house, meditation practice, and so on to be happy. Such belief also means we need others to fit our ideas of HOW life is supposed to be. All of this structure is to create a feeling of security and self-worth. The practice is to discover our intrinsic motives and make life choices more spontaneously. Tonight we will be discussing a life lived without forethought or prompting. Of course, this does not mean in the extreme. Rather, finding a balance between predictability and adventure. Coming from the Latin word sponte, which means voluntarily, tune in as we discuss the self that arises naturally. More importantly, the spiritual cost of suppressing it.
