Today Jed will share with us how small actions impact marriage [and relationships] in a big way.
This a wonderful opportunity for you to ask your questions. Call us at (646) 721-9611.
According to Jed, “Small actions can make or break a marriage. Tiny acts of kindness are sometimes the ones that are remembered most. Unfortunately, tiny acts of contempt are also long remembered, and can be powerful enough to turn a good relationship sour.”
Let’s find out together what Jed has to say about why, when it comes to relationships, little actions make a big difference.
Why? How? What do we have to do? Can we do it, too, and achieve success?

Welcome Pavitra Ciarvardone...
Happiness is more than simply positive emotions, it is a component of wellbeing. According to Positive Psychology leader Dr. Martin Seligman in his most recent book, Flourish, wellbeing is a result of positive emotions, engagement, positive relationships, meaning and accomplishment. What enables us to flourish and lead a fulfilling life? What is it for you personally? Pause to take this in and reflect on the interaction of these components noticing awareness of ourselves and the energy moving through us with each passing breath. From the place of pause and stillness we gain clarity, focus and resiliency to cultivate garden of happiness in our lives. This morning we are blessed to share in a guided meditation led by Pausitive Living founder, coach, trainer, healer and Voices of Grace leader Pavitra. Join us for a very special pause on purpose...
This is a gentle reminder to slow down and pause...be still for a moment. Connect to your spirit for guidance, light and love. Through a sacred space of divine interruptions we nurture our soul, clear our mind, and nourish our body... honoring our self-care needs and renewing our spirit. This show features a beautiful centering experience offered to gently create awareness and connection to the abundant grace present in our lives. In this beautiful space of stillness and guided meditation, we honor ouselves and the movement of grace. Enjoy a morning meditation... cultivate a practice of peace.

I open this conversation reading a letter to myself – dated Thursday, September 29, 2005 (at 10:38 a.m.) – outlining five things I wanted to change about my life. Nearly ten years later, I revisited that letter, and that head-space, at the top of this program. First line: “Dear Robert, you are not a bad person…” And it goes on from there. The letter ends with five commitments I made to myself – things I wanted to change in my life. And three of the five commitments I wrote in that letter, over a decade ago, have now come to pass in my life. I have manifested, kept and continued those commitments over the years. We, then, launch into our discussion of masturbation, with some statistics from the Kinsey Institute. I share how sex was never discussed in our two-parent-two-children home, and how I never really heard anything about masturbation preached from the pulpit at church. We then move into a discussion of the book “Every Man’s Battle: Winning the War on Sexual Temptation One Victory at a Time” by Stephen Arterburn. We then move into Michele’s “Thought of the Day” (Taking a Moment to Teach and Taking a Moment to Learn). We then follow with Dante’s “Word of the Week” (Restore). Dwayne V. Wiggins Jr. follows that up with his “Inspired Moment” (“You are a blessing and you are blessed”). After Dwayne’s moment, I was inspired to read from Deuteronomy 28:1-14 (Blessings for Obedience). We round out our conversation talking about the virtues of “conscious masturbation” – practicing it when you want to, but not because you need to do it. (The Robert Wesley Branch Show #198: “Men and Masturbation: Are You Addicted?” – originally broadcast on October 18, 2014.)

Many say they don't have a green thumb for gardening however I say there is another reason you aren't harvesting. I have a garden every year and many years I didn't harvest very much. What I found it is the same in life. To be successful in life you must tend it like you do a garden. Join me for this episode to learn how.

Feeling less than motivated all too often? I do. Well, perhaps not too often. But sometimes I just feel really lazy and unmotivated.
Want some practical solutions to that universal motivation-problem? Here are 25 of them. Try a handful.
Let me know which ones work well for you.
I’m sure you’ll find at least one or two that do just that among these suggestions.
1. Make a deal with yourself. Good for overcoming procrastination and getting things done. You can make the deal small or large. You simple tell yourself something like: When I’m done with this chapter/these reports I can take a walk in the park and enjoy an ice-cream.
2. Act like it. If you don’t feel motivated or enthusiastic then act like it. The strange thing is that within a few minutes you actually start to feel motivated or enthusiastic for real.
Have you noticed how often you "find something wrong" with people you don't even know? Do you notice those thoughts and feelings about how others look, dress, live? Where does this come from? Why do we find fault in others and jump to conclusions about their worth based on how they look are speak?
Judgement comes from within us. We are finding fault with self and it is showing up as we criticize others. That level of bitterness and fear is stored within. Facing our own inner fault finder and freeing ourselves to be worthy, valuable and beautiful sets us up for a beautiful life.
