This week’s special guest is Kimberly Thompson, International drummer & CEO of KT MUSIC. Kim was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in St. Louis, Missouri; teaching and performing internationally in over 33 countries (see below) in addition to playing locally in many of the New York City clubs including the Stellar Blue Note, Avalon the nightclub, and her main stomping ground, The 55 Bar. She is a 2003 graduate of Manhattan School of Music receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Performance and Composition. She is currently endorsed by YAMAHA drums, ZILDJIAN cymbals, and VATER sticks. ?She’s toured and performed with artists such as Beyoncé Knowles, Jay-Z, Wallace Roney, Terri Lyne Carrington, Gary Dourdan, Mike Stern, Meshell N'Degeocello, Reveren Run of RUN DMC, Roy Hargrove, Richard Bona, Anthony Jackson, Raymond Angry, Jason Moran, John Blackwell and Dennis Chambers.  Join the conversation at 713-955-0528.
