Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Brookshire / Pattison, TX with guest speaker Charles Kalkornery who shares about God speaking to us. God reveals himself to us by speaking to us.  All throughout the bible, God spoke to people.  He spoke to Joshua, Moses and many others.  He is still speaking to us today.  To have a relationship with God we have to speak to God and God has to speak with us.

It is hard to speak to each other and get it right sometimes.  It is also possible that it is hard to speak to God sometimes.  We have to learn to recognize God's voice.  God does not speak through our ears, he speaks to us through the Holy Spirit. It is in this way that we have a relationship with God.

There are 3 reasons why it is important to have this speaking relationship with God. First, it verifies your relationship with God. Second, it protects you from mistakes.  Provers 3:6 says, "Listen to God's voice in everything you do." Thirdly, it produces success in life.  Success is not what the world thinks success is, it is doing what God has planned for you to do. In Psalm 32:8 it says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life, I will advise you and watch over you. God has a best path for your life.

How do we prepare and equip ourselveves to hear God's voice? Charles uses the parable of the  sower from Luke 8:5 to illustrate and provide answers to this question. God want to speak to you.  God wants you to hear.
