Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Brookshire / Pattison, TX speaks from from Isaiah Chapter 43 about how God uses attacks to speak something to us. In Isaiah God speaks about passing through the waters.  We are not to stay in the water, which represents attacks, we are to pass through.

Trouble is not about what you are doing wrong, sometimes it comes to instruct you, but often the enemy comes to talk you out of your assignment.  God will use trouble to direct you into what God has for your life. You have to learn to be faithful in a hard place. God says, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you." God is going to use trials to promote you to a place that you never would have walked in before. God loves you, he is for you. With God for you, no matter who is against you, they are no match for God.

God has a call on every person.  Listen and you will hear the word of the Lord. Trials, and how you come through them are a measure of a person.  When the trials come, and things fall in your life, those are the things that are not built in the right way. If you don't ever walk through anything and get through the test and get to the other side, you will not be able to lead other people. People don't just listen to what you say, they watch what you do. God sees something in us, He sees potential in us that we cannot see. We're not going under, we're going over.
