Known now as the Grandmother of the Turquoise Heart, Grandmother Kaariina Saarinen has been blessed with many gifts and opportunities in which to craft a life from the level of personal mastery.  A new human, being fully unfolded, is a pathway familiar to her soul and purpose. Please join us for tonight's show, "Emergent Paradigms and the Roles of Spiritual Grandmothers."

Inspired by her parents, rejected by her siblings, she has walked with the dharma, or truth, as her inner guide.  Both of her grandmothers left Finland in the early 19th century with a suitcase, $100, their father at 18 months, and a great faith that they would thrive in this new world!

Her Bundle of Teachings and Tools, empowering the emergence of the sacredness of women, honouring the return to the Thirteen Moon Calendar, clearing the way for the rising of life force or kundalini, holding space for Rites of Passage after vision quests and pathways of purification, is a testimony to the years of celebration and contemplation.

Kaariina has steeped herself in the ancient accords and teas of refuge, finding sanctuaries where and when others would not be comfortable.  Serving great spirit rather than humans' priorities, she follows her father's wilderness path offering initiations in the forests, on sacred sites, and hidden in places not well known to others.

Youth find her fierce faith and love intentionally healing; women, though initially triggered by the directness of this shamanic path, eventually realize the Call to the Sacred Dream, and men, often repelled by this reconfiguration of prosperity, feel the pull-down from brain to heart to grieve in her councils, circles, and lodges.
