Time Warps Take Victims

Lorraine Warren stated that "time warps take victims" when interviewed about the Amityville Case.  What exactly does this mean?

Most people think of a time warp as one being caught in another time period.  

The reference to a time warp in cases such as Amityville concerns a  group of people (i.e. natives), whho were killed in an unjust manner. They should "still be" on the land that was taken from them.  This is how the time warp begins as they seek justice from beyond the grave against contemporary man.
