Finally Apologized for Abusing Me

Sounds like Tommy Lee is getting sensitive in his old age – and it’s about time. Fifteen years after he was busted for suspicion of battering then-ladylove Bobbie Brown, the Mötley Crüe drummer has told her he’s sorry.

The former Miss Louisiana Teen USA and Star Search champ says that – though the mea culpa was long coming – it has in the end strengthened her relationship with Tommy, now 46: “It probably took me 10 years to be able to be in the same room with him and not be affected in some way emotionally.

“Of course, I was ruined for at least five years after that. It was literally horrible for me,” Bobbie, who has also dated Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath, Orgy frontman Jay Gordon and Tuff frontman Stevie Rachelle, tells host Marq Piocos.

“Seeing him again – I got mad… Then I became like a buddy. Now we’re friends. But you’re still emotionally affected by what he did, for a very long time. He actually apologized this year,” adds Bobbie, now 39, whose new book is titled Serial Rock Dater: Sex, Drugs, and Cherry Pie.

“It took a long time to have closure with that part of my life.”
