    Date / Time:

    Seattle Pride

From the shores of the west coast to the beaches of the sound, there is not an unhappy face around really. Even those who are warring with bills and recessional struggles, are not to unhappy to be alive, since they live in Seattle.

Could it be that this pride is what makes Seattle and any place in Washington really, such a rich city? We are said to hold all of the greatness of the big apple, in our small rainy empire. Bright lights, fancy clubs, historical hang outs, new age hot spots, the roots of the worlds best music, and so much adventure!

From Seattle to Richland, you can find every kind of weather, environment and atmosphere. From hot and sweaty barrens to rich and lush rain forests. Tight knit condo communities living in skyscrapers, to the small flats and upper urban class communities. There is tons to do, and hardly a reason to turn away.

I find it so ironic that so many take a chance to leave, whether for a short while, or longer, and they just can't help to pine for that glorious smell of Seattle summer rain. Even if they've always grown up wanting warmer climates or more adventures, none are found more often then in washington, and those who have lived here for more than a year, find it hard not to make it their home.

I even heard a comment from an associate who came in from Detroit, who told me that she was given a short commentary from several people on her travel over to Seattle, and that it was amazing how much Pride a person could have for their state.

I just had to write this blog to say, "Right on Seattle! We Rock!"

    :)
