If approved, Governor Schwarzenegger's new budget plan will close at least 80% of California's entire state park system. Beginning July 1st, the Governor will cut the parks core funding in half and then eliminate all core funding in 12 months. Without this money, there will be no choice but to close the majority of our park system. Our featured guests include: Jerry Emory - CA State Parks Foundation; Gwenn Marie - Borrego Springs Chamber of Commerce; Linda Tandle & Ray Mouton - Anza-Borrego Foundation; Mike Menghini - Julian Chamber of Commerce; Nanci Sikes - Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau; and more.
