A somewhat silent and invisible trend has been occurring over the past few decades.  Male sperm count has decreased worldwide.  Incidences of thyroid disorders have been on the rise.  Frogs have experienced mutations, while fish sometimes increasingly show characteristics of both genders.  The list of hormonal problems and symptoms that we’ve seen increase is a long one.  What is causing these problems?   Diane Brandon is joined this week by Carol Kwiatkowski, Ph.D., Executive Director and Senior Research Associate of the Endocrine Disruption Exchange.  She’s involved with research into environmental factors that may be causing the hormonal abnormalities that we have increasingly been seeing in our world, and she’ll share with us what the research shows and what we can do to protect our health.
