It is wise to be prepared for a time of economic disruption and shortages of supplies. Among the greater threats is the possibility of a power shut-down by EMP.

Restoring of needed supplies would stop, with no pumping of fuel for deliveries or travel. Vehicles may not even function. Refrigerators and furnaces would not work. A long term outage is expected to lead to a breakdown of social order.

The possibility of the commercial system shutting down means that food storage, a pure water supply, a good plan and a cooperative support system are essential for survival in a time of major changes. There are basics of natural health and survival skills that even children should know, such as identifying edible plants that may be growing in your yard. Meanwhile we need to protect ourselves from the public poisons.

The importance of preparedness and mutual care with loved ones in a cooperative community support system needs to be communicated to as many people as possible. Arrange planning meetings with neighbors and nearby friends about helping each other in difficult circumstances.
