Richie Plass
To those of you that enjoy down-home hard hitting blues, old country and rock and roll music that brings you to your feet, The Flying Feather Band has got what you want. --- Tonight we are interviewing Richie Plass - member of the popular classic rock and blues group - The Flying Feather Band. - The group's latest independently released albums "Lost in Nashville" and “Back on the Rez with Boogie” are so much fun, you might just jump out of your seat and dance along as we listen to some of the tracks on this show. --- Plass, an enrolled member on the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin that resides on the Oneida Indian Reservation with his wife, Lily - has had quite a life...once the "Indian" mascot for his high school, Plass now speaks out against Native American stereotypes as a much sought after public speaker. In addition, Plass is also a published poet, songwriter, author, traditional dancer and co-host of the popular weekly two hour radio show in Green Bay, Wisconsin - KALIHWIYO'SE - sponsored by the Oneida Arts Board. - join us this week for Richie Plass!
