On today's show: A Floridian Christian Pastor, Terry Jones, has called on public support for the display of what he feels is an "ideal response" to the building of an Islamic Mosque near Ground Zero: by setting approximately 200 Muslim Holy Books, the Qur'an, on Fire. While many believe this is merely a publicity stunt (and misguided attempt for '15 minutes of fame'), Mr. Jones 'assures' the public it's a 'reasonable reaction' in Matching the Violence Muslims perpetuate in Their land by: Burning Americans in effigy; Setting the U.S. Flag on fire in the streets; & Chanting "Death to America". However misguided, Mr. Jones is Right to FEEL the way he does; the Question becomes: Is it Right for a "Man of God" to 'Lead' such a naive crusade? Certainly it will outrage the Muslim community, and bureaucrats from Every walk of Washington to President Obama HIMSELF... including the Pentagon & Top U.S. Military Commander, General David Petraeus - are weighing in on the issue. What's of Significant note is the fact that the Same Washington (Democrat) Politicians were all but "okay" with a similarly "offensive" matter when it comes to the sensibilities of the Mosque in the eyes of Americans still left in bitter pain in the wake of 9/11. What message does this send? "You have a RIGHT, but that doesn't mean it's the 'right' thing to do": "You have a RIGHT, but it's Disrespectful" - Obama Admin (& Dems at large) to the Christian Pastor in FL re: burning the Qur'an. "You have a RIGHT... but I won't speak on the Wisdom of doing so" - Obama Admin (& Dems at large) to Imam Rauf re: building a *"Mosque at GZ" (*the Imam's OWN words). ASSAIL Christians (& Jews & U.S. Citizens) - yet Defend Foreigners' 'Rights'... It's no Wonder this issue's become a Powder-Keg.
