 Sammy W. Lacey Jr. is running for Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Last year, The Honorable Victoria Stewart, retired as Judge, thus creating a vacancy. As a criminal defense attorney Mr. Lacey has had several occasions to appear and to defend his clients before the Honorable Judge Stewart. Judge Stewart served in her position as a fair, impartial and compassionate judge. Like Judge Stewart, Mr. Lacey is also fair, impartial and compassionate.
Sammy W. Lacey Jr. is a member of the Southside Branch of the NAACP, and served as Branch President from 2003 – 2008. During this time he personally assisted in handling over two hundred complaints for discrimination on a pro-bono basis.
At the present time Mr. Lacey is a practicing attorney with his concentration in criminal defense and civil litigation for the last eleven years. 
With proven experience and abilities; noble character which is given to fairness, impartiality and compassion, Sammy W. Lacey, Jr. solicits your vote.
