“A Mama Bringing Sexy Back!” Meet Bekah Baker

Like all woman Bekah Baker wears many hats. First & foremost she is a child of God overwhelmed by His love, faithfulness & grace each & every day. She is also a 35 year old mother of 4 young kids. She’s wife of 15 years to her hubby Keith. A sponsored NPC national Bikini athlete & fitness model. Daughter, friend & motivator. She has been on quite a journey the past 3 years transforming from a woman who was shackled by the opinions of other, who found her value in making everyone else around her happy because she had bought into the myth that her job as a "good Christian woman" was to put every one else first.

Three years ago her fourth child was almost 4 years old & Bekah was 32 years old & tired. Tired of being out of shape. Tired of being told she shouldn’t worry about her body because after all she looked good “for having birthed 4 kids.” Tired of sitting down & feeling her belly roll over her pants. Just wore ALL the way out! She needed a change & she needed it now. One of Bekah’s favorite quotes is “If you don’t like your circumstances, change them. If you can’t change them, change your attitude!” Well, she knew she COULD change her circumstance… she just had to face her paralyzing fear of failure & JUST DO IT! Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It truly is feeling the fear, facing it dead on & moving forward anyway. Long story short, Bekah found a trainer who prepped pro athletes on their off season. She also heard about NPC Bikini & Figure competitions & chose a date on the calendar to compete in one & told everyone as MAJOR motivation. She lost 20lbs & 15% of her body fat in 10 weeks & won that first show. She was hooked. She started a blog called “A Mama Bringing Sexy Back!” & has never looked back!
