NARCONON REFLECTION
Here is a daily realization from a Narconon drug treatment student. It is written for those who are abusing heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, pot or any drug of abuse and it is written with a message of hope.
"This past weekend when I went home my family got together for a big Saturday dinner. Just before dinner, some amazing things happened for my family and me. I have a sister that I have not talked to in a year and a half, mainly because of the life I was leading and because of several harsh things that had been said between us. When she came over and saw how well I looked, how I was acting and how all the kids were excited to see me we met each other in the middle of the room and hugged. We started crying on each others shoulders with apologies.
It was an awesome moment for the whole family because many times my parents have tried to bring peace between us. It was a wonderful weekend with my family and my three boys with no irritation.
I also ran across an old "friend" and had no cravings or desire to use."
