While many drug rehab statistics are nebulous, Narconon boasts a 76% success rate, based on a two year follow-up. A key to our success is the Narconon New Life Detoxification program. Through the use of a sauna, we provide body detoxification that can help eliminate or reduce cravings. Research has shown that, detoxification from drugs or alcohol should be followed by effective treatment to achieve long-term success. We provide that effective treatment. Our non-12 step approach provides life skills necessary to maintain sobriety and lead a successful life. These life skills will help the addict identify and resolve problems through learned techniques, rather than turn to drugs as they have in the past. For more information on how the Narconon program can help you or a loved one, go to www.drugsno.com or www.alternativesentence.com or call 877-413-3073.

The alcohol companies have found the perfect product for the perfect customer – energy alcoholic drinks for underage drinkers. It is a brilliant move destined to make lots of money for these companies. The only problem is that if they are not careful, the industry is likely to lose a few customers in the process. Long-term the hyped up marketing of alcohol to youth can be fatal.
As long as no one says anything with a loud enough voice to make a difference, the alcohol industry will continue to sell to young people.
Call your legislative representative and find out how you can help.
We need future leaders – not a bunch of alcoholics.
Alcohol companies are finding increasingly dangerous ways to hook the nation's youth and fuel the underage drinking epidemic. That is the conclusion of this new report by Marin Institute. The report examines the alcohol industry's youth-oriented marketing tactics promoting the consumption of alcoholic energy drinks, such as Bud Extra, Tilt, Sparks, and Rockstar 21.
