“There are things in my life that I can permit to remain. Things that I wanted to remain in my life in the past never did because of drugs and my actions. Today I have something in my life that at times is hard to handle but so worth working through. I can allow things to remain in my life if I choose – I have to search within myself to see if it is best for me.
I have a lot of regret for the things I’ve never done or took advantage of and the only reason those doors closed were because it was my decision to do so. Today a new door has opened for me and I have walked through it just by coming to Narconon. The window of opportunity is here – this is my time. I don’t know if I have another chance at this, nor do I want to find out, so I have to get this now.
I need the support of others. For so long, I lived by the motto that I didn’t need anyone, but I do. I cannot do this alone. I need the support of family, friends and people who are clean. Support is a vital part of my sobriety as no one can do it alone.
