Join Deborah and Bryan as they talk with Dr. Jim Clauson to discuss his search for paranormal energy. Jim’s interest in the paranormal began as a search for the illusive PSI. This was triggered by trying to understand experiences in the 1990s in the UK visiting sacred sites like Avebury, Glastonbury, and Stonehenge. Jim’s most memorable “haunted overnight stay” was spending the night alone in the 1,000 year old Skirrid Mountain Inn in Abergavenny, South Wales, UK where 182 men were hung. The room he slept in, well… laid in bed for a while… was the former courtroom where “Hanging Judge Jeffries” sentenced the men to death by hanging. A left-brained, recovering engineer – Jim continues to look for energy – be it PSI or ghostie or…something not yet named. Something has to be behind all of the anomalies that people experience. And if that something is energy, we can measure it. Jim actively supports and helps out with the Paranormal TV Network an internet TV network with 35 live shows a week. One of Jim’s pet peeves falls under the category of Stupid Ghost Tricks. Why do people walk into a room and say: “show us a sign of your presence”? The spirit across the veil will scratch its head and wonder what the heck this mortal is doing…. Another is teams that say they are using the scientific approach – but cannot define the scientific method. Using a piece of technology does not make the approach scientific. Jim has masters degrees in both business and engineering and a doctorate in information technology management. He is part of the Third-eye Paranormal team are more interesting in experimenting and testing theories and new equipment than saving homes from spirits.
