Who was Jesus? (peace be upon him)/ What did he come to do?

Jesus (pbuh) was the long awaited Messiah. The one prophesied in the Old Testament by previous Prophets (pbut) to come to the Children of Israel. But, what is a Messiah? Who and what were they anticipating from the Messiah? Were they waiting for God in flesh form or a human sacrifice?Or were they waiting for a leader, a Prophet sent by God to guide them? Lets see what the Bible says regarding Jesus (pbuh), one of the BEST of men in humanity. One of the most misunderstood.  *Some scriptures that will be gone over in this message*
