Rev. Mark Pope left home at 13, spent 7 of the next 9 years incarcerated in detention homes, reform school, county jails, a locked psychiatric unit, and a maximum security unit of The Texas penitentiary. After these experiences, he was faced with a life sentence for a crime he didn't commit. He spent the next 6 months in jail awaiting trial and underwent a major shift which manifested in a rather miraculous outcome on the first day of trial. He's not been locked up again since. This experience redirected his attention and life into one of spiritual interests. Mark is now the minister at the Unity church in Sedona, Arizona.
