Thank you so much for adding us as a favorite! What a wonderful show- I absolutely love Native American music and we can certainly learn a thing or two about respecting Mother Earth and gratitude from our Native ancestors. Be Well, Mary

Show Notes

For 11-8-09 NAMAPAHH_Radio:Missing Children's Show..... http://www.whereisgina.com/ Nancy Ruiz is the mother of Gina DeJesus. She has two other children, Rick & Myra & is also a grandmother to Tatiana & Nancy. (They are old enough to remember Gina). Through the last five years, Nancy has gone through the absolute worst thing that could happen to a mother! Through, her tragedy, she has become not only an advocate for her child but for other missing children & adults in Cleveland. Her and Tara, made promise to Amanda Berry, mother, who was Cherokee before she passed away, that they would make a difference for missing children & keep Amanda's story out there with Gina's. The, two have worked together as a team in many ways in the last few years, getting the girls faces & cases there; A first EVER: The National Basketball Association NBA, David Stern approved that Amanda & Gina's faces appear during the 2007 NBA Finals in Cleveland on ABC/ESPN, where the broadcaster talked about that someone knows what happened to the girls. Appearing in 83 countries. And there were press releases & pictures of the teens given to the media in the after game press conference, when Lebron James, Cleveland Cavs star was interviewed. This was a first in the NBA, a first for missing children, a first for missing Puerto Rican & Native American missing teens. Tara & Nancy's sister Nancy Smith, wrote to Oprah for the last several years, many times... Then they both received calls from Oprah's producer, FINALLY in October, wanting to talk to Nancy. Two days, later, the film crew & producer, were in Cleveland to interview Nancy. She did a GREAT JOB! Tara was thanked by producer & really talked alot w/ the producer... An impression was made b/c Gina was on www.oprah.com for a week following the show...NO ONE ELSE! Now, "Where is Gina?" is another tool to be a voice for Nancy, for Gina to bring her home, along w/ other missing children as well as AMINA's Law, a bill in written in honor of Gina and Amanda Berry. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mother to Ranson Weber Horse Member of Standing Rock Lakota Nation Lakota Activist Founder of Intertribal Warrior Society for Children-developed for the safety & health of Children of the Seventh Generation -One of the Programs is Honoring AMINA for Amanda & Gina, advocate for AMINA's Law- Author of AMINA's Law. Advocate for Missing Children & Adults in Cleveland for many years. Advocate for the freedom of Leonard Peliter. Mention again how many hits the show we did got. 800. I had no idea! GREAT! Social Worker for 18 years specializing in work w/ victims of violent crime and children & their healing. Journalist for the Native American Press for many years. Recently signed a book deal w/ BioMed Publishing to write a book about her son's life saving medicine man Dr. Charles Ray Jones, MD. Both Tara & her son are battling Neurological Lyme Disease. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tim White is the Executive VP of IVM productions and was assistant producer on the Where is Gina project. He has over 35 years in the ministry. He is also a writer with 8 books finished and working on getting them promoted. He is a motivational speaker and have taught seminars on the family. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> http://www.whereisgina.com/ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> http://www.fox8.com/wjw-dejesusdocumentary-txt,0,1411970.story >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> http://www.fox8.com/wjw-documentary-filmed-0522,0,1670399.story
