She has two other children, Rick & Myra & is also a grandmother to Tatiana & Nancy. (They are old enough to remember Gina). Through the last five years, Nancy has gone through the absolute worst thing that could happen to a mother! Through, her tragedy, she has become not only an advocate for her child but for other missing children & adults in Cleveland. Her and Tara, made promise to Amanda Berry, mother, who was Cherokee before she passed away, that they would make a difference for missing children & keep Amanda's story out there with Gina's. The, two have worked together as a team in many ways in the last few years, getting the girls faces & cases there; A first EVER: The National Basketball Association NBA, David Stern approved that Amanda & Gina's faces appear during the 2007 NBA Finals in Cleveland on ABC/ESPN, where the broadcaster talked about that someone knows what happened to the girls. Appearing in 83 countries. And there were press releases & pictures of the teens given to the media in the after game press conference, when Lebron James, Cleveland Cavs star was interviewed. This was a first in the NBA, a first for missing children, a first for missing Puerto Rican & Native American missing teens. Tara & Nancy's sister Nancy Smith, wrote to Oprah for the last several years, many times... Then they both received calls from Oprah's producer, FINALLY in October, wanting to talk to Nancy. Two days, later, the film crew & producer, were in Cleveland to interview Nancy. She did a GREAT JOB! Tara was thanked by producer & really talked alot w/ the producer... An impression was made b/c Gina was on www.oprah.com for a week following the show...NO ONE ELSE!     Mark ThunderWolf was born in Chattanooga, TN, the son of a musician who had mastered many instruments during his lifetime. As a child, Mark watched and listened to his father play guitar, fiddle, organ and piano all by ear. Mark often dreamed of being a musician and as a teenager bought an acoustic twelve-string guitar and later a Dobro acoustic guitar but never quite connected with either instrument. While in high school he was given a harmonica and quickly mastered it playing along with popular songs on the radio. Over the years he jammed with friends and bands at bars and made many guest appearances with local bands across the country but always felt something was missing. In the spring of 2001, while working in Southern California, he visited a wolf sanctuary.The Founder of the sanctuary gifted him his first flute. In addition to the mass execution, 265 Dakota men were sent to prison near Davenport Iowa while 1,300 Dakota men, women, and children were exiled to a concentration camp known today as The Crow Creek Reservation in South Dakota"....injustices to the descendants and tribal members of Crow Creek continue to cause great suffering.     OWVA Needs Your Help to Save Christmas! December 4, 2009 Info:Greg Warnock greg@owva.org Oregon National Guard Soldiers Stranded for Christmas...Salem, Ore. - Brigadier General Mike Caldwell, the deputy director of the Oregon Military Department/Oregon National Guard (ORNG) asked the Oregon War Veterans Association (OWVA) to help provide transportation for 94 members of the ORNG, from Dallas, Oregon who will be stranded in Wisconsin for the holidays. “OWVA has proven to be a valuable resource to the Oregon National Guard, providing goods and services to help to eliminate stress to our soldiers and their families by always offering a helping hand wherever and whenever possible," said BG Caldwell during a media conference today. “I asked for their help because the public knows them and supports their efforts to help our troops.” With gigantic budget cuts affecting ORNG they simply do not have the funds to bring these veterans home for the holidays. The unit is currently at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin for explosive disarming and disposal training. They deploy to Afghanistan right after Christmas for more than a year of the dangerous duty of defusing explosive devices.Please find it in your hearts to help OWVA bring Oregon’s veterans home. 3 ways to make a charitable donation for this project:1. Go online to www.OWVA.org, and click on the donate button.2. Deposit at any branch at US Bank to Oregon War Veterans Association/ORNG account ending in 5051.3. They have a new release on Dogma Records. Here is some background information on the Blue Stone Project II CD featuring Aaron White,Gary Rasmussen, and Billy Adams : Aaron White has been a longtime Canyon Records recording artist putting out albums under the name,Burning Sky that were basically traditional Native American music. He earned a Grammy nomination in 03' and won a Nammy the same year. Aaron has recorded nine CD's, Blue Stone Project I being a Canyon Records release. Gary and Aaron with the help of drummer Billy Adams recorded the Blue Stone Project II CD, under the Dogma Records label. They debuted the release of the Blue Stone Project II CD in June of 2009 at a return visit for a triple performance at Eiteljorg’s Indian Museum in IN. Over the past forty six years Gary Rasmussen has been a staple on the Detroit music scene. Gary was living and working with the band, The Up, at the now famous Hill Street Estates with The MC5 and Iggy and the Stooges.Gary’s past bands have played with acts such as Jefferson Airplane, John Mayall, John & Yoko, Alice Cooper, Sun Ra,The Brats, ZZ Top, Savoy Brown, The New Yardbirds (actually the first gigs of Led Zeppelin), Johnny Winter, Patti Smith, The Cream, and so many other top acts too numerous to mention. Billy Adams is the drummer of SPONGE who has been a long time national act with several CD’s to their credit: www.spongetheband.com . Sponge received massive airplay on radio stations from coast to coast and were in heavy rotation on MTV. After their "Rotting Piñata" went Gold, the band toured internationally, sharing the stage with Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Live.

    Ted Vigil is a singer, songwriter, and a tribute artist. He was adopted out of Colorado and raised in the Seattle area. He has been performing since the age of ten. Throughout school Ted played in concert, symphonic, and jazz bands developing his talents as a drummer and singer. In 2006 he went on to Laughlin, NV to compete in the Talent Quest '06 competition involving 28 states, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada taking first place. He then went on to win Komo TV’ 4’s N.W. Afternoon Celebrity Look Alike Contest. In just a very short time Ted has developed into a national act. He performs all over the country at casinos, show rooms, night clubs, fraternal clubs, private parties, fairs and festivals. Some of the venues include the Broadmoor Hotel, Colorado Springs and the Four Seasons Resort, Dallas TX. The most heard comments after the show are, “I can’t believe how much he looks and sounds like John Denver, it really took us back!” Ted will be our "on air" guest to speak with him about John Denver( who is gone now) & why he pays Tribute to him and what people think about or say when they hear him and meet him in person. He'll be putting on a local show here in the NW coming up on 11-28-09:(my B-day!) Tickets are at a number of locations in Sedro Woolley as well as Stowes in Burlington,WA.
