Amber Lawhorn is a hometown girl - born, raised and, now, working in Miami, FL.  Amber worked in both the Aviation and Entertainment industries prior to becoming immersed in the business side of healthcare.  In 2008, Amber joined Jackson Health System as a Business Analyst.  In her role, she was responsible for managing the implementation and daily administration of the contracts division of Jackson’s enterprise compliance system.  In 2012, an exciting opening for growth within the organization appeared.  This opportunity - Small Business Program Liaison - would afford Amber the chance to make a direct impact in her community.  As Small Business Program Manager, Amber enjoys working closely with vendors on a daily basis.  She works hard to provide assistance with navigating Jackson’s operations.  On any given day, she is advocating for small businesses within the community, establishing positive internal and external relationships in order to develop avenues for small companies within the Miami-Dade County community to do business with Jackson.

Edwin Odell spent 33 years in the newsroom as a multiple award winning reporter, producer, and anchor. He is the Corporate Director of communications and partnership for the Jackson Health System. His specialties include: television and radio production, including talent services; corporate and agency DVDs; public relations, that includes serving as spokesperson, media training, community outreach, defining corporate media messaging, crisis training, community outreach, media buys, phone bank scripting and training, writing press releases, media contacts.
