Rosa Jones Carter is a progressing construction owner with JC Homes Services, LLC of Jacksonville Florida. She has been skilled in commercial and industrial masonry and concrete construction for 24 years and counting. This is a family owned business and she is the third generation.  At the age of 25 she became certified as a Structural Mason Contractor in Tampa, FL and an OSHA Safety Inspector in Chicago, IL.  After suffering a near death experience she closed the business until recently.  She envisions restructuring the company to include young adults, innovation while achieving a Mind Shift change on how to become a Black Woman in Construction.

Rosa Jones Carter also stays active in her community by educating others about the construction industry, current political dealings, and current affairs. She serves as a Board Member and Officer of the Florida First Coast Chapter of the National Business League (NBL), Co-Chair of Economic Development of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and a Member of National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC).
