Q & A call-in discussion with a survivor-professional, using an OPEN MIKE forum. We'll feature a survivor-professional co-host who'll field topics brought to the episode by you, the listener. ~~ Tonight's special guest will be Nissi Hamilton from Houston, Texas, was born to an adolescent mother who had herself been sexually trafficked by extended family members from 11 to 13. "When I was born I was left in the hospital," she says. "Where I was born is still a mystery to me still to this day." In foster care Nissi was abused starting at 14. "I was considered aged out foster care," she reports. "I lived in an empty apartment owned by housing authorities until I was officially kicked off of the property. At 15, I was homeless, no family, no food, no shelter and no one to call mom." But, "Today, I am a proud activist, motivational speaker, coach and life style influencer." Nissi goes on, "I teach young girls and woman how to not come into agreement with the spirit of poverty. Human trafficking is a type of poverty that requires a demonic contract." ~~ On these episodes we welcome various co-hosts, survivor-professionals who'll assist in fielding questions and lead a variety of topics suggested by our call-in participants.
