SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "For Our Kids" - Deborah Maddison, and Tracy Baxter, Canadian activists from British Columbia, will lead the this evening's discussion about the Rights of Children and Families in North America. Participants will include such notables as Eugenia (Gina) Couture from British Columbia, author of the book "Adoption Not An Option," Kevin Cline, Social Reform and Child Welfare Advocate from Tacoma, Washington, and Dr. Ruby Dillon from Orange County, California, whose attempts to help her daughter, Lexi, have been met with serious judicial corruption. Dr. Thea Reinhart, who worked on Lexi's case, will call in from Irvine, California and Dean Tong, Forensic Child Abuse expert, will join us from Florida. Tonight we are talking about the hypocrisy of our Child and Family services. Children are being seized from their families for profit, for Federal funding. States and Provinces are offered financial incentives to increase adoption numbers. All across the US, parents are suing CPS for malfeasance, the performance by a public official of an act that is legally unjustified, harmful, contrary to law or in violation of a public trust.
