SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "For Our Kids" - Deborah Maddison, Paula Ciardullo and Angela Borths will lead the discussion about the Rights of Children and Families in North America in a series of bi-weekly shows dealing with the subject. Tonight we will be highlighting two high-profile cases in the media spotlight at the present time. One is a Canadian case and one is an American case, (1) in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, two foster boys who were in the care of a Kelowna family for over a decade are being moved by the Ministry for unjust causes. And (2) in Boston, Massachusetts, US, the story of a teen in a medical dispute that was sent to foster care. The program will lead into a discussion of some of the tactics employed by children's ministries to unjustly apprehend and keep children from their families, and the horrific abuses of parents and children with disabilities. There is much more that unites us all in these issues than divides us in the US and Canada.
