Tonight's special guest is Claire Cappetta from Long Island, NY, a survivor of rape domestic violence and stalking.  Claire also reports of being held hostage and of being verbally, mentally and physically abused, too. She's a creative writer who retired from the financial world to concentrate on the dream of publishing a first novel, "A Broken Ring; A Woman's Journey from Abuse to Empowerment" now available at Amazon. It follows a woman’s journey through relationships, abuse and domestic violence through to inspiration and empowerment. Although a difficult topic to cover the story is heartwarming and inspiring. Ms. Cappetta understands that rape, abuse and domestic violence are difficult topics to cover but rather than looking at it as a deep, dark subject, wants to throw light, humor and empowerment at it, to show people there's 'Light at the end of the tunnel' .. that the journey victims / survivors have been through will forever change them, but it also made them stronger, and they should be proud to say they survived instead of trying to hide it. She knows this because this has been her own journey. Claire has written a second novel "Stalking Liberty; A Woman's journey from Abuse to Freedom" is due to be released in September 2013.
