Tonight's special guest is Lisa Freeman, from Michigan, the Founder and CEO of Abuse Bites and "A Time to Heal Ministries." She is a lifelong Abuse Survivor, who, after a life of child abuse, ran away, lived on the streets, was forced into prostitution, and later suffered through two horrific abusive marriages. Everyone in Freeman's family, even her dogs, were abused or bullied in some way, (and have abused and bullied others), but they have all healed. Now they travel abroad sharing their inspirational stories in an educational program to offer complete healing to victims, bystanders, bullies, and families. Freeman's son, Brian, was bullied all his life for having Asperger's Syndrome and a rare heart condition. Instead of taking revenge on his bullies, he had a change of heart, forgave them, and wanted to help them. He wanted to travel all over the USA with their program even though he was on the heart transplant list. Sadly, just as they were getting ready to go, Brian passed away. After he died, his family found a change jar he'd been saving. It was then they knew they were to collect change, so they could do what Brian wanted .. go all over to change hearts and save lives!
