Tonight's special guest is Jo Langford from Washington State, therapist, sex educator and author of "The Sex EDcyclopedia" which offers tips and information so that "you can make informed decisions and have the necessary tools to go at sex and sexuality with a sense of confidence and seriousness, having fun along the way, while doing as little harm to yourselves and others as possible." The book appeals to parents who need to talk to their kids about sex as well as to teens (particularly boys) themselves. Mr Langford works with teen perps & victims, saying about himself, "I have worked in the helping field in some capacity for over 20 years. From peer counseling and student outreach programs in high school, to hospital work in medical and Psychiatric settings in college. I have worked with kindergartners as well as gang members, group-care and with families in their homes. All of this experience has culminated in the last 15 years with my work with sexually abused and abusive boys." He continues, " I employ creativity and humor in order to stop unhelpful patterns of behavior and replace them with more pro-social and predictable behaviors."
