Tonight's SPECIAL GUEST is Kathleen Moore, from Sacramento, CA, founder of "Army of Angels" which is planning a 50 state event celebrating this year's National Child Abuse Awareness Month (April, 2012). Now in its 29th year, National Child Abuse Prevention Month is a time set aside throughout the month of April to focus on protecting our most vulnerable citizens. Their Mission states: "By creating positive partnerships which result in services and support to families, which keep them safe, we are able to create stronger and healthier communities where our children may flourish." Ms Moore has worked on hundreds of cases aiming to resolve child abuse as well as missing/exploited child occurrences, supporting family members impacted by the trauma along the way, assisting them in their quest to productively convert tragedy to triumph! In 1993 she began producing the National Child Abuse Prevention Month 50 state campaign. NAASCA is planning to participate in the Opening Ceremonies that will kick off the month-long 50-state event, and will broadcast one of our "Stop Child Abuse Now" talk radio shows LIVE from Sacramento during them.
