Tonight's SPECIAL TOPIC is the ongoing investigation at Penn State University, and the many issues surrounding it.  Bill and Carl Hart reviewed the news as it has been revealed that an football team assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky, released years ago but still enjoying his reputation, has finally been exposed as a pedophile.  At least eight young men had been raped over a 15 year period of time. Yet officials, who had been informed, either chose not to say anything or did the minimum official reporting of the crimes required, allowing the situation to exist far longer than it should have.  Emotions are high over these issues, with many believing that famed college football coach, Joe Paterno, fired from his position yesterday, shares in the responsibility.  ~~ Please see our web site at: www.NAASCA.org
