Tonight's SPECIAL GUEST is Margie McKinnon the founder of The Lamplighter Movement, an international movement for incest and child sexual abuse recovery. She's author of several books, including "REPAIR Your Life: A Program for Recovery from Incest & Childhood Sexual Abuse." The name of the REPAIR program is an acronym that stands for the stages of the program: Recognition, Entry, Process, Awareness, Insight and Rhythm. "When I was in incest recovery," Ms. McKinnon writes," living in a women's shelter, married to my third abuser, suicidal, and fumbling my way in the dark, I thought, ‘If only I had a Lamplighter, someone who would show me the way.'" From that, the dream of the Lamplighter Movement was born.
