Peace Challenger..came through to peek in. Like that person that always pops up unannounced with their millions of children, overstays their welcome, then asks what you're cooking for dinner lol

Tiffany Adams, aka "MzUnderstood", formerly known as "Challenger" was born and raised in the state of GA, the cultural mecca of the South! Music became her lifeline in an otherwise challenging childhood: alcoholic absentee father, single mother struggling to raise 3 kids, poverty, domestic violence, drug community, etc. She began writing poetry and prose around age 7 or 8 as an outlet. At the age of 10, cancer took her mother and she was thrown into an 8yr. battle to break free from the hold of poverty in her life and make it to college. Through her struggle, a fire of discontent erupted in the young artist which drove her to community, church, and school platforms to speak on affirmative action, education, and economic empowerment of disadvantaged communities - as a teenager. In her early twenties, her passion for music gave birth to an underground hiphop label "Empower Entertainment" in upstate SC where she now resides. Soon, however, both music and social activism took a backseat to new motherhood and her spiritual walk with the Lord. With that fire still brewing for poetry, performance, and progress , in 2007 Tiffany re-emerged with "That's Word" Edutainment, a spoken word entertainment and nonprofit organization focused on the advancement of the spoken word genre and the mental, spiritual, and economic uplifting of our community. As an artist, her work ranges from In-Yo-Face, uncompromising truth about society and what we need to do to change our circumstances, to a soulful delivery of poetic honey laced with a lil R&B. Whether she's making you think or smoothing out your night, ...no matter your flava, once you get a taste, you'll come back for more! ...and that's word!
