Atkins is the Founder & President of TCA Productions Inc.She was born in Brooklyn, NY &raised in Queens,NY.She is a rising Producer, Filmmaker, Director, Screenwriter, Playwright&Author.God placed within her a love &passion for the arts especially cinema,theatre &writing.Her interest in writing started at Mater Christi H.S. in Astoria, NY but it was at John Bowne H.S.in Flushing, NY where her passion for writing & drama was ignited.After high school she increased her knowledge&sharpened her skills in Film&Video Productions attending such schools as Center for the Media Arts, C.U.N.Y’s BMCC&CCNY of NY;with 18+ yrs of experience doing Camera, Directing&Editing for Plays,Concerts,Conferences,Indie Films,TV&Cable programs.She accepted Jesus into her heart in 1989.LIFE having its challenges to endure in 1996 she detoured from the path the Lord prepared for her,out there she experienced alternate,open&taboo life styles.It took 8 yrs for her to learn you’re never too far gone or tainted to be reached by God.It was at Dr. Aretha Wilson's yearly RAW (Remnant Affecting the World)Gathering in February 2003 where she rededicated her life to Jesus&returned to her course.Her church home&family is the Humble Heart Fellowship Ministry, Pastored by God’s handmaiden who brings forth God’s truth&power to the Body of Christ,the renowned Dr. Aretha Wilson.Taryn gives all Glory to God for delivering&restoring her.She declares“If Jesus can clean me up&restore me,he can do it for anybody.”Her prayer&desire is to use the gifts&talents the Lord has given her for His glory.That the seeds of films,plays&books be fruitful& bring forth a harvest of people whose lives were not simply touched but transformed.
