Mz.Gloria World of Love & Poetry

Time and Life is so very precious...take nothing or no one for granted...tell EVERYONE who means something to you...THAT YOU CARE! Please remember to pass kindness onto all who may cross your path, be it family, friends, loved ones or strangers.....for you may not know just how much of a difference you can make in someones life...please do that for me! A SMILE costs you nothing, but creates much with it's lasting effects. It enriches those who receive it, without impoverishing those who give it. RENEWING YOUR HEARTS

    Renewing Your Hearts

Each of us deals with difficult people. Evil actions and words affect our lives and hearts and those our lives may touch. They also affect our homes and relationships.
God/Allah/Jehovah or whomever you may worship wants to give us a new heart and a new spirit, as we vow to love The Father with all of our hearts.

Holidays bring out the best in everyone. It also brings about, for some people, fear, loneliness, regret, and despair....as we need to develop Happiness in our Hearts. So let us pray for God/Allah/Jehovah or whomever you may worship to give us a vision to fulfill our mission as it was intended for our lives as we pray for hearts filled with the love– and generosity– which make his work possible.

Take the time of the New Year to touch twice the hearts of all those who may cross your path as you seek to look with your hearts and not with your eyes.  "The purpose in a person’s heart is like deep water but it is a person's of understanding will draw it out."

Consider that people are like musical notes and need to have a harmonious complement. Understand the basic character of those you're surrounding by in your life and have no expectations beyond. Clarify your own heart and know that when working together you're doing the best for all the people in your life. For the blessings that you bestow upon others from your heart will be bestowed upon you ten fold.  By renewing our hearts we are renewing our hearts towards God/Allah/Jehovah or whomever you may worship, renewing our love towards one another and renewing our passion for living.  Our minds and hearts are multi-layered, like an onion peel away one layer and it seems another layer is hiding beneath.

God/Allah/Jehovah or whomever you may worship need not be on our lips every minute of every day. But He should be in our hearts from the moment we wake, to the moment we sleep.

Hope has two beautiful daughters. Their names are Anger and Courage; anger at the way things are, and courage to see that they do not remain the way they are.
Are we angry enough about what's wrong with the world?  Do we really have the courage of our convictions to change those things?  By renewing our hearts and having compassion for our fellow beings is when it begins. Renewing our hearts can touch minds and help to unfold the deep meaning of our experience in the light of our experiences as we pursue a life of passion, purpose and principle.

The opposite of hope is cynicism, and cynicism also has two daughters. Their names are Indifference and Cowardice. In renewing ourselves in our faith, we need to change most urgently is the habit and rhetoric of cowardice we find in our own personal lives, in our national political life, the line separating good and evil runs not through states, but right through the center of each human heart, and every human heart. Renewing our hearts -- that's where we begin. Renewing the world - that's our goal.

Seek forgiveness from or offer forgiveness to someone in our lives with whom we need to be reconciled. At the heart of our speaking to each other needs be the word of positivity. We also find strength and nourishment through interaction with like-minded others.  God/Allah/Jehovah or whomever you may worship calls us into little communities of the heart: communities where we expose the fissures in our mind to confess our sins, pray, and then allow the words of God/Allah/Jehovah or whomever you may worship to sink deep into the hidden parts of us.

    A Psalm of David
Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
    Psalm 37:1-4 (NKJV)

    (Prayer)

Our Heavenly Father. Forgive our sinfulness, heal our brokenness, and renew the eyes of our hearts, minds and spirits that we may be one in You. Give us the ability to be thankful, give us joyful praise, and renewing our hearts in love.  Give us peace of mind and take away negativity as you create for us a pure heart as we have the need to pray for others more, and we should treasure other’s prayers for us. But whatever our prayer are for others, may we always pray with love.  Help us to pray even for our enemies, even for those that do not love us.  Help us to pray that their eyes will be opened to see Your will and their hearts will be moved to do Your work.  Amen
