Medical-

I have said this in the past and now it is actually getting stronger.  The medical future is Eastern medicine.   Medicine specialist from China will be coming over to the US to help set up healing centers, and educate people on how to heal themselves.  

Western medicine will be used for emergency only.  Taking over the counter medication can be dangerous if taken for long periods of time.  People will be taught this and start to listen.  You will see more people carrying herbal remedies in a eye dropper bottle. 

A growing need and health concerns is waking up the masses to re-educate themselves and self teach how to cure themselves from health issues.  These are problems and symptoms that will show up in the first stages of health concerns. 

If the symptoms turn into a disease, which is a bunch of symptoms resulting in poor health, then you will seek an Eastern Holistic Doctor.  He/she will be able to determine which herbs will best suit your illness and start you on a path for better health.  Another avenue for healing will be flower essence.  You can go to the health clinics to get a bottle of herbal pills to solve the issue that you are experiencing.  It is cost effective and very affordable and healthy for your body.  The cure is not worse than the treatments you are taking…. like Western medicine has been known to do.  

If the problem goes to stage three where now it is important to have surgery or serious care then Western medicine is where you go.  For serious diagnosing you will also go to a Western facility however, you might go back to an Eastern doctor to cure the illness.

I also see more insurance providers supporting this plan due to the cost.  They will even require that you go to an Eastern doctor first and you will be allowed to go to a Western doctor a very limited amount.  This is how we will get away from being on medications for “life” and start to take more of an active role in our health and knowing what will help make our body parts healthier. 

The irony is this; people will not be able to afford the high cost of pills and conventional medicine.  They will stop going and stop taking conventional medication.  They will find that on most occasions they feel better.  Then their eyes will open and they will learn the way of alternative, or Eastern, medication.

As doctors start to lose money and clients, their attention will start to swing with Eastern medicine.  Prescribing healthy alternatives, such as eating better meals, and using a lot of flower essence and herbs to heal will become their focus.  Only on extreme cases will a Md. be prescribing pharmaceuticals.  The doctors not wanting to follow this type of healing will have fewer clients and not be used very often.  There focus will be on the later stages of poor health, which requires surgery and E.R. care. 

You will see a lot of doctors leaving this industry and returning to a practice that makes them feel good about what they do.  

Business

Lots of changes are going to happen with businesses especially, big businesses.  People will not trust big business because they have demonstrated a need for self-prosperity and not really looking at what is best for their customers.  Shoppers are going to be looking for the one-on- one contact from a smaller store, and a business owner that is going to be more invested in customer’s satisfaction.

Large businesses can’t control their employees that well.  The lawsuits, competitive nature of business, warehousing products, and price reductions; are factors that are going to steer big businesses to down size and make more of a presence online.

The greed that most of the big businesses have showed and demonstrated as normal every day people are suffering will leave a lasting impression.  People will not trust big businesses and will learn to do without.  People have now realized that their financial security is more important than Wall Street’s numbers. 

Trust is a huge factor now.  People will not trust what they are buying.  If they got the best price, or if it is good for them are major concerns.  Since there has been little regulation on big businesses and CEO’s and they have been allowed to do what ever they pleased; people are starting to educate one another about the perils relying on companies to do the right thing.  Now consumers are taking their power back and making their own goods, bartering, or researching what products are really the best for them. 

It will take companies a long time to regain this trust and for the biggest companies they need to tighten their belts.  It will become harder and harder for them to stay afloat.  Since they are so top heavy it will be impossible for them to make it unless they get rid of costly CEO’s and learn to provide the service and products that people want, healthy, and the best price available.  Otherwise, you will start to see a lot of big businesses close their doors for good.  Mom and Pop stores will become very popular.

The companies that do well will be those that have employees working from home, offer general contractors to fill positions instead of an employee situation.  There will be more of a presence nation wide with a good reputation.  CEO will be one of the crew and not making huge amounts of money.  It would be more reasonable and reflect a wage that will be tolerated by the staff.  The new CEO will have to be trusted and liked or people will not work there.  If the staff doesn’t like him/her then clients will not stay either.  This will be the new management style that will last for years to come.  A likeable and trust worthy CEO with brains and people skills will be highly sought after.  The person will have to have good business sense and not be selfish or greedy.  The person will have to be respected to run a successful operation.   

Jobs

There is a large shift for the job market.  The people that prepare for it will have ample job security and those that wait will be running behind to catch the train.  Here is what is going to happen.  Companies are going to hire general contractors and they will start to get away from hiring full time employees. 

Employees will have their own home-based business where they will handle multiple companies’ job task.  Here is an example of how this will work.  Let’s say you are a bookkeeper.  You will handle the books for a company from home, using your own resources to manage the books.  You can work whatever hours you want as long as the job gets done.  What you will find is people having more than one job.  Never again will people, unless you are in a specialized field, have just one job.  The security of knowing that you will be able to make your bills with one of your jobs is going to bring much relief to our Nation.

People will become more educated and use their free time to learn about different businesses.  Computer skills will grow as well.  The people that choose not to learn and stay afloat in the new world will not be able to stay live securely.  Most people will have 2 or 3 careers and be able to offer security and financial freedom for their personal lives.  Relying on government will only provide frustration and problems.  Becoming more self reliant and employable for a variety of jobs will allow one to sleep better at night. 

Banking

Many problems are to come in the Banking industry.  First of all, there is miss trust with a lot of people and the banking industry.  Over gauging, greed, and scam tactics to take your money has only made us a lot wiser.  People will start to migrate their money and banking business to banks that are working for the customer.

I see the 3 major banks having huge issues and law suits for allowing bad business with people’s money.  Hacking will also be a major problem and keeping people’s information safe will be a huge costly problem for the larger banks.  Government will have to step in and offer help in the policing and investigation of hacking crimes.  This is going to be a huge issue for the years to come and people will have to be smart and keep their own information out of hackers hands. 

Interest rates will lower again several times and then start to climb by next year, 2010.  The time to regroup and establish you financially will be this year.  Pick a bank like a credit union or a union type of bank to keep your money safe. 

I see major problems coming from the 3 big banks and Bank of America especially.  It will be tricky for them to dig themselves out of this mess without the scam tactics from the past and getting payouts from the government.  I see them being broken down into smaller banks.   

Homes

I see another large swing in foreclosures coming in June 2009.  There is a big one!  Then there will be a smaller one in October 2009.  Banks will start offering housing at a lowered rate due to the state taxes they will have to pay. 

Some of the houses will be dumped at a lower rate due to the condition of the homes after the thieves got done ransacking the home.  Banks will be forced to sell these homes for a great deal. 

Watch for websites to pop-up that is operated by banks to dump homes.  I see banks walking a fine line between trying to keep the cost of homes up and trying to get rid of this growing number of foreclosed homes.  Banks will have to get rid of them before the property taxes are due.  They cannot afford to pay the property taxes on all the houses they carry on their books.  Save money and pay cash for a house will be the goal of homeowners.

Riots

Since I leave in Fresno, California; I do see a lot of problems happening in this area.  Like other large cities, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, to name a few; will have more people becoming desperate and frustrated with the economic times.  Gang’s will start to take life back and into their hands. 

Officers not having the resources available, being corrupt themselves, and discrimination towards homeless and minority groups is going to stimulate much aggression.  Starting this summer you will begin to see more “Gangs” fighting back against the establishment.

If bad cops are not punished and law enforcement agencies are not cleaned up, then you will see a lot of riots.  The middle of the road families will be migrating to safer states and safer small towns.  The big cities with lots of violence will be left to the establishment and gangs. 

Let me also say in California if you or a loved one is murdered then your family will have to hire their own homicide detective!  If you want justice, then you will have to hire your own detective to see that the crime is handled correctly.  Policemen are going to be so busy keeping up with the gangs that they won’t have time for Internet crimes or homicides.  In addition, they won’t have the resources available to handle them let alone have the knowledge to prosecute them.  You will need to hire your own specialist. 

Earth Quakes      

I don’t usually see earth quakes, maybe its because I don’t want to, but I do see a very hot and active fault around Santa Maria and it comes up to the center of the valley (east), then north up towards Sacramento.  There will be lots of shaking going on this year with that active fault.

Politicians

This is a tough one for me.  I really want to see our government and new president do right by the people.  For now it appears to be but we have not seen all the chips fall into place yet.  I see two things happening here. 

If President Obama hires the right staff and they stay true to his mission then people will calm down and start to remake their own lives.  People will no longer blindly follow the President without proving that systems, Congress, and Walls Street are for the American People!  In the past the goal was to make government to powerful and now it will be to serve the people.  Huge shifts come with this administration because the people will be watching and making notice of criminal activity and enforcement of ethical values.

  There are a lot of changes but it is important that the government do the right thing like forcing “Regulation”.  This will be especially true for the FDA, FCC, FTC, USDA and other important agencies that keep American safe. 

If the people involved (mentioned supra) do not establish a bureaucracy that we trust then the American people will take our nation back.  Here is how they would do it.  First of all, government is run on taxpayer money.  People being disenchanted with government will slow down their income levels and look for ways to stop paying taxes earnestly.  People will return to a barter system, buy smaller homes, and drive older cars.  Spending money means you have to make money and that is not going to happen.  Our society will slow and the government agencies will start to feel the pinch.  The good news is government will be more regulated from the state level.  States will become more powerful and involved with who they allow in Washington.  More accountability will come from state’s elected officials who monitor what is going on with government.

Washington will answer to the states.  The president will baby sit congress and dictate a trustworthier panel of people that make changes for the American people.  It will not be tolerated to have greedy scam artist in Washington.  There will become more transparency and more eyes on what Washington is doing.  The states with the most crime, bad agencies, and dishonest members of congress will crash.  People will not subscribe to this type of life style anymore and will move to states that have a positive and safe life for them.

I do believe California is going to be hurting badly starting this summer and could take up to 10 years to remedy.  A major over haul in state policy, and officials will be necessary to draw taxpayers back into this environment.  For now, it’s bleak and going to get a lot worse.  Businesses are fleeing and so will the jobs.  This means, people will follow the money not the violence. 

Legal

Part of the major reason we are all in this mess is due to our legal system.  There is so much crime and bad laws that it is really taking its toll on people’s lives and financial security.  With bogus lawsuits and the right to sue anyone any day for any reason is killing those with money.  People with no money and nothing to lose have the most power.  If you own a home and are financially stable than you are at risk of a bogus lawsuit. 

As our economy gets tighter and more people with high paying jobs start to lose clients and revenue they too will become desperate.  That is especially true for lawyers.  They will start to look for any lawsuit and where they can get revenue.  In some cases you will see lawyers band together to just sue a company.  They are hoping for an easy payout from Insurance companies.  This is going to stop.  Insurance companies will not pay out these easy pay offs anymore.  Attorneys will have to be examined and approved for a law suit hearing.  Then the states “Middle Court’s” will assign a case worker to test if their was a actual claim.  Once approved then there will be a hearing set.  This type of over see and legitimizing will stop and solve the problem of bogus cases. 

Another bad legal system is the process of divorce.  People will no longer get married due to the financial risk and having a loved one turn into a terrorist.  Spouses because of the threat of a divorce are murdering people.  Once again, the “Middle Court” will step in and offer a service for a flat fee.  If you have kids you will pay that fee for that amount of children that have to be decided upon.  It will be easy and affordable.  I see divorces costing 5,000 flat fee!

If you have money and you have a house, you will be targeted for a lawsuit!  Here is what I see happening.  People will no longer put homes in their names.  Businesses will also be hidden.  If a lawyer is going after someone’s assets it will be hard for them to find them or touch them.  Assets will be considered an attractive nuisance.  To avoid lawsuits means to avoid showing any wealth.  Trust will become an every day solution.  Everyone will have a trust that is untouchable by frivolous lawsuits.     

This will eliminate a lot of frivolous lawsuits and dishonest lawyers.  The past provided an easy avenue for the legal industry to make lots of money.  With the shortage of money now there is going to be a huge shift to do what is right for the people.  Otherwise, people will start to take the law into their own hands.  This will be very dangerous and hoping our new President sees the problems with this system and makes the changes to help to restore trust in our system.  

Conclusion

This is a very uneasy time for the American people.  We need a new legal systems, a trusty worthy Washington, and businesses that don’t scam us.  There has been so much corruption and most people have not see the tip of the iceberg.  Industry has ruined the people’s trust and the good news is people will take their power back.  Trusting no one but themselves, and their families and making secure nucleus for themselves.

Companies and Agencies that earn people trust back and make the right decisions for the people and not their bank accounts will flourish and the others will demise.  The auto dealerships had 10 years to come up with a solution to the oil crisis.  They made billions off of gas guzzling cars.  Now in order to stay in business they will have to compete with an already introduced economy car from other countries. 

Food manufactories, pharmaceutical companies, fast food companies, and farmers who made and produced products to harm and destroy us will be eliminated.  Lawyers will sue pharmaceutical companies like never before.  Harmful foods that have been sold with the manufactures knowledge of dangerous by products will be sued and farmers who have sick and over injected animals will be sued.  This is where lawyers will make a bundle and help the American people avoid unsafe products.  

Be careful a lot of scamming companies are going to be in the business of changing their names!  You will see some companies that have sold bad goods avoid lawsuits by shutting down one company and starting a new one with the same bad intent.

Also, be aware of Internet crimes.  It is going to get a lot worse and guarding your home computer is a necessity.  Keep all information safe by not storing it on your computer.  Use a flash drive and only keep the operation system on the computer so you can clean it out every week and not have to worry about hackers.

Make sure that in your community there is a police department that enforces Internet crimes.  If you don’t have one then you are a sitting duck.  Some organizations will not pay you back lost funds especially if there is no police report.  If a police department is trying to avoid reporting these crimes they will not report them.  Your money will be lost and you will be an on going victim for hackers.  Stop it by learning what safety mechanisms are in place to help you in case you are hacked. 

This will be a good year to get ready for the opportunities of next year.  The things to remember the most are to get you and your family safe, and live below your means.  If you are in a crunch don’t be afraid to bond with your family and help one another through these times.  But most importantly, if you have been victimized by a scandal make sure you write to every office you can and notify them of the event.  It’s the only way we are going to have a better tomorrow.
