A Lady Priest? A Lady Bishop!? Sure, Why Not?

The Roman Catholic Church has long taken a stance against female ordination to both the diaconate (deacons) and the presbyteriate (priesthood) and female consecration to the episcopate (bishops). Even the Roman Church's newest Pontiff, Pope Francis, as different as he seems, has stripped Bishops and Priests of their entire church lives for even speaking favorably on the subject.

But why? What are the arguments against Female Ordination and Consecration? More importantly, are those arguments credible?

Tonight, join Catholic theologian and candidate for ordination in the Unites States Old Catholic Church, Kristina Rake, for a controversial and amazing look at the spiritual, theological, historical, and ecclesiastical justifications for the ordination of women to the diaconate and priesthood and consecration to the episcopate. This show is sure to prompt discussion and response. Whereever you stand on the subject, you will not want to miss this very important show tonight.

**This show is the result of an assignment given Kristina by Bishop Long, her ordinary, who would like to hear her formulations for the argument of female ordination. It is his wish that the public also hear these thoughts because the USOCC is in favor of female ordination and needs to have a rational basis for this position. The views expressed this evening, however, are Kristina's alone and do not necessary reflect the views of Bishop Long or the USOCC.
