Today, Isaiah reminds us to feed the hungry. Jesus extols us to be the salt of the Earth without losing our seasoning. Both are talking about what are called the Acts of Mercy, all from the mouth of Jesus throughout the Gospels. But what is mercy? It is more than compassion; more than empathy. It is something else.

In Today's sermon, award-winning preacher, speaker, and theologian, the Rev. Bishop Kristina Rake, will talk about Acts of Mercy and explain what Mercy means in scripture and how we can possibly be "merciful, as God is merciful." She will also explain the devotion to the Divine Mercy and play the Divne Mercy Chaplet in song.

Bible readings, prayers, hymns, and praise all surround our anointed preaching and teaching ministry on Blogtalkradio.
