Award-winning preacher, theologian, and author, Rev. Bishop Kristina Rake, will preach on:  The Voices in Your Head vs. The Voices in Your Heart. In today’s Gospel, Jesus calls Peter and Andrew and they drop everything and follow Him. But when we hear God, do we even know His voice from our own? We hear several voices in our heads: the ones that keep us fat, addicted, drinking, passive, co-dependent, afraid, depressed, in bad relationships. But God’s voice sounds different. We need to learn the sound of His voice so we can distinguish His comfort and guidance from all of our other voices, as well as those of the world. You don’t want to miss this sermon or you’ll miss God’s call for your life. You’ll simply view it as another painful voice.

Hymns, scripture, prayer, praise, preaching, and Sacraments.

The Charismatic Universalist Church is traditional in theology and worship, but affirming in its social outreach. Rooted in the First Century theology of the Christian Church, our theology is Independent Catholic. However, we do not believe it is our place to protect God from His people. We boldly proclaim the love of Christ to overcome sin and our need to respond to that love by giving God our entire life. We also boldly proclaim that God loves everyone, whether we like it or not, no exceptions.

Therefore, we call everyone to the sacraments regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or marital status.
