In the sixth installment of the Charismatic Universalist Church's popular How to Pray series, award-winning preacher, lecturer, and theologian, the Rev. Bishop Kristina Rake, explains meditation.

Meditation is the physical and mental act of trying to commune with the Divine. There are very specific physical tools of the body and mind in order to free the soul to wander to new heights. While this may sound like florid poetry, the act of meditation is very practical. Bishop Rake will explain how to prepare your physical self and mental self in order that your spiritual self can walk without the other two.

Other topics in this episode: rhythmic breathing, chanting, visualization, technological aids, astral projection, lucid dreaming, dream interpretation.

Next Week: The Practice of the Presence of God.
