Managing the Conversation - Dana Caspersen

Dana Caspersen joins Dr. Brewer to offer invaluable fundamentals for turning any conflict into an opportunity for growth. Conflict expert Dana Caspersen shares real-life examples, spot-on advice, and easy-to-grasp exercises that demonstrate transformative ways to break out of destructive patterns, to create useful dialogue in difficult situations, and to find long-lasting solutions for conflicts.

In addition to a conflict specialist, Dana Caspersen is an author, and performing artist. Her work focuses on empowering people to transform conflict from the inside: changing the conversation by changing their own actions and approach.

Caspersen has created events and projects that bridge her experience as a performing artist and a conflict specialist-using theatrical and choreographic thinking to enable communication in situations of conflict. These projects range from choreographic public dialogues to films to her book, Changing the Conversation: The 17 Principles of Conflict Resolution, and are being carried out in cooperation with communities, art institutions, universities, social action groups, conflict workers, artists, and other individuals throughout the world.
